I want to buy a RV and will use it 100% for volunteer activities. Can I write it off as an expense. I want to deduct the full purchase price or maybe depreciate it. If not, can I incorporate as a private non-profit and then deduct it that way?

Okay we bought an RV, due to a manufacturer problem it wrecked while taking vacation. We had already made 5 payments on it at the time. The insurance company paid it off but our question is can claim it at a loss?

The insurance company paid off the balance but we did not get reimbursed for the first 5 payments. We only had it 5 months when a manufacturer error caused it to crash. Luckily we did not hurt.

What wiring hook up for brake lights does a travel trailer from the 70s typically have?
I just bought a 17 foot Monitor 2 travel trailer from 1975, and I am having wiring hooked up to a hitch tomorrow. I will not have time to inspect the trailer until saturday (it is a good distance from where i live), when I have to pick it up. In the 1970s, was there one general type of wire hook up I can count on being the correct wiring hook up, or do I really need to inspect the end of the trailer’s wiring before hand?
